Annual Cal Poly Senior Study

Bull recently visited the campus of California Polytechnic State University where Bull sponsors a Senior Study on thermodynamics and efficiency of the grilling surface as it pertains to the premium Bull BBQ Grill. The two students that created the study were Marty Dodge and Sam Melo, both seniors in the Mechanical Engineering program. Together the devised a testing apparatus that could accurately measure the temperature across the entire grilling surface. During the experiment the students tested both natural and propane gas grills with a variety of flame tamer set ups including the most recent ReliaBull design. Using the most advanced technology they demonstrated the difference a slight change in design can make on the uniformity of heat distribution. From this Bull can use the apparatus the student engineers created to develop the best grill design that would deliver the most even heating grill surface in the industry.
